St. Mary's School - Celebrating 100 Years of Catholic Education

St. Mary's School (SMS) is celebrating its 100th year of Catholic education in the Delta! Alumni and families of alumni are welcome and encouraged to come and join in the following celebrations.

On Friday, August 15th, students of SMS will celebrate the school's 100th birthday with a cook-out, birthday cake and balloon lift!

On Saturday, August 16th, former and current students are invited to a "Meet & Greet" social to be held at 6 p.m. Location for this event is to be announced. Please check back soon for details!

On Sunday, August 17th, Bishop Anthony Taylor will hold Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Saving the very best for last, an Italian-style Pot Luck Lunch will follow in the Parish Hall with the Ladies Altar Society preparing their perfetly heavenly, homemade spaghetti and meatballs!

Saturday's festivities include the Best Dog Gone Dog Show Ever, the Colossal Chili Cook-Off Challenge and Roarin’ Ribs Rivalry plus great music all day long. First...you make-ah da meatball! And that means it's time for the Ladies Altar Society's 99th Annual Spaghetti Dinner! Serving up homemade spaghetti, meatballs, Italian bread, salad and heavenly dessert is a time-honored tradition for the Society.

This year's dinner at St. Mary's Parish Hall is between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Carry outs are available from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. (bring your own container or purchase one for $.50). Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids and are available now or at the door. Buon Appetito!!
